Evolution

I see all this stuff going on in Skuld and I want to help. On the other hand, Wormmon still is stuck at Child-stage. We'd be more of a burden than a help at this point. No one else seems to have this problem -- I don't know why I do. Even during the Riot, I wasn't able to do it. I mean, Wormmon's never been past Adult without Daisuke and Vmon, but even Stingmon should be something he can get to. I don't know if it's me or what.

Then again, I haven't done much to justify Wormmon evolving. Mostly I've sat around here. Maybe I do need to do more. But, to do something without a partner who can evolve would be stupid. I'd just end up getting hurt, and having Kou and Ryou and Oniisan coming to rescue me.

I don't know what to do.

I'm sort of the reverse of your situation. I've done afew things since arriving here and even learned some things but I still haven't been able to get Kokuwamon to evolve to Adult thus far.

Yeah, I can't really offer much advice, but I can sympathize. Of course, I think the reason my partner hasn't evolved probably has something to do with the fact that we're constantly trying to annoy the hell out of each other rather than working together (very long story behind it, too long to get into).

So, yeah. Feels like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. In my case, I know a few ways where I can be of some help. Maybe you'll find some way that you can help too.

I don't know either, but I felt like it needed to be said. If all I can do is help with strategy from behind the front lines and keep Kou and Ryou and their Digimon and the others from getting hurt as badly, then that'll be something.

And you're helpless without him? You're resourceful, Ken! You can do things without a jogress partner. And even then, it took equal strength for both of you to do what you did, not just his.

Even if I figure out what's wrong, at best I'll be another person with an Adult Digimon. Maybe I can get to Perfect on my own, but probably not before the next fight.

That doesn't bother me, but the way you put it, Taichi, it seems like you're expecting me to suddenly swoop in on ImperialDramon and save the day.

Ken, you're more than capable of fending for yourself and fighting without Wormmon being able to evolve. And when that happens doesn't matter...just hope that it doesn't take getting a concussion for it to happen the first time.

Actually...we were jogress partners first. Of course, that was still with V-mon, but it's not all about Daisuke, here. :P

I've found that Monodramon and Kumamon evolved when we needed it, before we got hurt, so who knows?

...Well, I suppose you could go out and annoy some aggressive digimon somewhere in the hopes that Wormmon would evolve in time to save you, but, you know, more than a little dangerous, please don't do it. Even if it did work that one time Takato tried it on Aelita.

I meant with making you feel more useful. If what you say about Evolution is true, then Wormmon will be there when I need him. (And picking fights with Digimon isn't my idea of something safe to do.)
